Save Money and Energy with these Food Preparation Tips

Eating on the road can be expensive and quite energy draining. If you eat from Airport Restaurants, lounges, “food” during flights, they are not really the best choices for you if you’re looking for increasing your energy levels. 

Most of these “things” are processed, stuffed with industrial chemicals, sugars and all of these pro-inflammatory substances. They drain your energy, you are starting to grab more caffeinated or sugary beverages to “balance” out this imbalance. 


The more processed foods you eat, the more energy you require to digest and process.


That’s why I prepare my own little stainless steel box with full of goodness.

What I take with me:

Raw veggies can be without refrigerator for at least 2 days. My family loves carrots, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and radishes (at least me 😂). They are packed with WATER, and they contain lots of vitamins, minerals, fiber and enzymes!

Nuts and seeds are also a great choice, they travel well. Even if you soak them, they can be without refrigeration for almost 2 days.  

Hummus is a great dip, but at the airport check they are not always letting through unfortunately…(it happened with me this time, before that I haven’t had a problem)

I and my boys love boiled Eggs, they are fine for a day without refrigeration. Packed also with proteins, fats, minerals.

Any kinds of Jerky Meat is great too. They are light, tasty, travel well.

If you can and have the chance to get organic produce from local sources, those are going to be far more superior in quality than commercial ones.

I love to bring Organic Tea filters with myself, even if you didn’t really prepare anything. Asking for some hot water and drinking a great quality fasting tea can be a lovely option. (Far better than eating junk on the flight or the airport…)
